Chris Libby - Bass Guitar

Well, for my part, I have been playing music in one form or another for most of my life. I have been playing in the Augusta, GA area for the better part of 15 years. I have been in at least a dozen or so bands but none have really had as much success as Bleeding Counterfeit has had.

My main / current influences are:

1. The Cure
2. Metallica
3. Jane's Addiction
4. Bonnie "Prince" Billy
5. Dinosaur Jr.

There are of course many others, but that's what I'm currently listening to.

Other projects that I am working on are Taming Bacchus and MuzzleFuzz, So if you really want to delve more into the inner workings of my playing, then go there as well.

My Current Rig

I play a 1989 Ibanez EX series bass through a Behringer ULTRABASS BX4210A 450W. I now have a brand new ARIA SB-CB! http://www.ariausa.com/basses/sbcb.html

I prefer Blue Steel Strings, but in a pinch will settle for some good GHS Boomers or the equivalent.

I also just purchased a Boss GT-10B Multi-Effects and I must say I am very pleased with it even though I haven't even begun to explore all of the options on it.
